WHAT IS A CHEESE WEDDING CAKE?

It consists of several cheeses arranged one above the other in the same way that the tiers of a traditional wedding cake might be arranged.  We always use cheeses that are both pleasing to eat and pleasing to look at.

Cheese cakes are becoming increasingly popular either as a replacement for a traditional cake or as an additional cake.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

As a rule of thumb allow about 100g of cheese per person which means it will cost roughly £1.30 to £1.70 per head.  But you can choose small or large - inexpensive or lavish!

HOW DO I PUT THE CAKE TOGETHER?

We supply all the cheeses plus all the other items such as boards and pillars.  (We do not supply decorations such as fruit.  Nor do we supply a ‘bride and groom ornament’.)  This means you can either construct it yourself to your own design or you can ask your wedding venue or caterers to do it for you.  It is very simple and great fun.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER?

Give us as long as you can so that we can ensure that we give you the cheese in perfect condition and so that we can select the prettiest looking cheeses.  Having said that, we’ve managed to put wonderful cakes together with only a few days notice in emergencies!
